CV
I studied Mechanical Engineering, specialising in Plastics Technology, at RWTH Aachen University. In 1997 I was awarded a doctorate in the “Analysis of injection moulding of microstructured thermoplastic components”.
First of all, I worked at RWTH Aachen University as Assistant Institute Director and Senior Engineer at the Institute of Plastics Processing (IKV) under Professor Walter Michaeli. This was followed by various management and board positions over several years with the bio and medical technology company Eppendorf Instrumente GmbH in Hamburg, the injection moulding processor Oechsler AG in Ansbach, and finally with the construction chemicals specialist Tremco illbruck International GmbH, based in Cologne.
My projects always required active cooperation between business and science. I maintain this exchange with the aim of ensuring the long-term growth of the company through innovation. This is also reflected in my assignments: I am a member of the Administrative Board of the SKZ (South German Plastics Centre) in Würzburg, and the Board of Trustees of the IKV (Institute for Plastics Processing) in Aachen. For several years, I was an elected Specialist Assessor with the AiF (German Federation of Industrial Research Associations) in Cologne.
I have been working with ROGALLA CONSULTING since 2009. The “Assignments” page provides an insight into and an overview of my assignments
